I bought this set specifically to trim my children's hair at home. I'm no expert but I watch a handful of YouTube videos and am able to trim and layer my kids hair without anyone saying "who hacked their hair" so I guess that means it's an okay hair cut hahaha.This product overall has been great. For the price that is listed you cannot get better, both scissors are sharp, they don't pull hair and or need multiple goes. You could probably do better than this one.
