This is my first music purchase for Cold War Kids. I recently got a subscription for XM Radio in my vehicle and I was listening to Alt Nation and the song "Hot Coals" came on and I was like...OMG! Who is this? 2 weeks later I bought the CD. The other songs are pretty good too...."This Could All Be Yours" and "First" are easily two of my other favs on this album.It is NOT a pop album. Musical interests are Death Cab for Cutie, The Black Keys, Smashing Pumpkins (yeah...I'm old and old school alt and grunge...)...I plan to check out their previous albums as well....after I have run this one into the ground, lol! My toddler will know the lyrics in no time ;)Another thing I like about my purchase is that by buying it thru Amazon I was able to immediately listen to a digital copy in my Amazon Music Library and I was able to cast it to my tv thru my Amazon Prime Subscription.
